Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 26, 2026

This policy explains what data solya.app collects, why, and what you can do about it. We are committed to collecting the minimum needed to run a useful marketing site and to talk to retailers interested in the product.

1. Data controller

The data controller for solya.app is Solya SAS, registered in France. For any privacy question, contact privacy@solya.app.

2. What we collect and why

Demo bookings. Name, professional email, company and any context you enter when booking a slot via Calendly. We use this to confirm the meeting, prepare for it, and follow up. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request.

Email replies. If you write to one of our addresses, we keep the thread to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to inquiries.

Technical logs. Like every web server, ours records IP address, user-agent and timestamp for security and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site available and protected against abuse.

Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we record anonymized usage signals — pages visited, scroll depth, referrer — to understand which content is useful. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.

3. What we do not collect

We do not collect bank or payment information on this site. We do not run cross-site advertising tracking. We do not build behavioral profiles. We do not sell personal data.

4. Processors

We rely on a short list of subprocessors to operate the site and process the data above. They are bound by data-processing agreements consistent with the GDPR.

Hosting: Vercel Inc. (EU regions). Booking: Calendly LLC (US — Standard Contractual Clauses). Email: Google Workspace (EU / US — Standard Contractual Clauses). Analytics: a privacy-friendly provider (EU region), enabled only with your consent.

5. Retention

Demo booking data: kept up to 36 months from the last interaction, then deleted or anonymized — unless you become a customer, in which case it’s retained under the commercial agreement.

Technical logs: 90 days. Analytics: 13 months. Email correspondence: as long as it’s useful to the conversation, then archived.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, port it to another service, or object to its processing. To exercise any of these, write to privacy@solya.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data-protection authority) — cnil.fr.

7. Cookies

By default the site sets only strictly necessary cookies — those that make the site work (session, preferences). Analytics or marketing cookies, if any, are only set after you give explicit consent through the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted.
